13 May, 2012Value Determination Process
21 April, 2012Thank-you Marcia, for facilitating me with step 1 of a Value Determination Process today.
Determining our priority of values can be very useful exercise. Our values may be determined by our unconscious voids, what is most missing in our life. As what we perceive as most missing, the void in our life may therefore become what we perceive as the most important value. Our fulfillment may be determined by the filling of our perceptually empty voids.
Dr John Demartini says; “ The hierarchy of your voids determines the hierarchy of your values” Also the hierarchy of our values can determine how we perceive what we selectively attend to, and how we act. Dr John Demartini says; “Although determining your values can be practically useful in your daily reality, in actually, nothing is void or missing in the first place, it is only in another unrecognized form. But what you perceive to be ‘missing’ will become what seems to be ‘important’. So this is why our private voids give rise to your public values. You fulfill a void and value through either a perception or an action”
Dr John Demartini is considered one of the world’s leading authorities on human behavior and personal development. I have listened to many talks of Dr John Demartini over the years & I recommend this work.
Happy Eostre’ …
6 April, 2012Again it’s time for Easter eggs, hot cross buns and bunny rabbits, but what does all of this have to do with Easter?
Easter (es’ter), Ishta, Ostera, or Eostre’, was the Goddess of fertility long before Christianity, as an ancient pagen celebration, for spring, fertility, re-birth and new life.
For thousands of years before Jesus walked the earth, we celebrated the rites of Spring at this time of year, with the perfect balance of light and darkness, called the Equinox.
The fertility goddess has origins back to ancientBabylon, known as Ostera or Eostere; Queen of the heavens, and then the Roman church replaced the pagan celebration ‘Christianizing’ it.
How did you celebrate this ‘Equinox’?

Australian Society for Bioregulatory Medicine – Clinical Homotoxicology Masterclass
30 March, 2012I attended an excellent Clinical Homotoxicology Masterclass today by Dr Kel Boys of the Australian Society for Bioregulatory Medicine.
Homotoxicology is a form of Bioregulatory medicine, practised for over 50 years and is now widely utilised in 60 countries, primarily addressing the body’s failure to deal with the burdon of toxins, using low dose physiological stimulation.
Homotoxicology promotes the importance of the Extracellular Matrix; the non cellular substance that surrounds and influences the behaviour of our cells.
Today, we are shifting away from the old reductionistic model of medicine to a more wholistic perspective.
The seminar helped me reflect as to why we are in the ‘Empowerment Health’ field, and what is the driving force for us to do things differently.
The orthordox, allopathic mechanical or biochemical approach is merely focused at achieving stability or homeostasis, whereas Bioregulatory medicine employs a multistage approach, of applying stimuli to multiple targets, to promote activation, and healing rather than suppression.
Along the principals of Homoeopathy, Homotoxicology works to reverse the evolution of disease, in what is referred as a ‘Disease Evolution Table’, adapted to the uniqueness of each individual.
Sir William Olser, M.D., (1849 – 1919) said; “It is much more important to know what sort of person has a disease, than to know what sort of disease a person has”
What is Your Million Dollar Question?
13 March, 2012I was fortunate to attend a talk today in Brisbane by Roger Hamilton, the founder of Wealth Dynamics.
Roger is truly an inspiring speaker. He started the presentation, with; ‘no-one knows what’s going to happen in the future’. Although he says we would probably agree that we are here for a bigger purpose, and the future is not what we think it is.
Roger has skillfully adapted the I Ching (or Yi Jing) known as the oriental classic of changes, to gain a better understand our various individual talents, strengths and weaknesses in a personality profile.
Along with the classic elements, associated seasons Roger says there are eight different profiles and assosiated natural paths to achieve a greater ecology and wealth.
He also says today, and every day is a million dollar day. We enjoy the resources today that royalty could only have dreamt of in other times. Every day we consume millions of dollars of resources and turn it into more value for our-self in various ways.
However, we often try to solve problems in the wrong way, as we are seeking the wrong answers. All of our problems are not solved at the same level of thinking in which they’re created. We need to shift our level of thinking. Roger spoke about the age of ‘augmented humanity’. This is the notion that, as we link seamlessly with technology, we are able to operate with senses, cognition, memory and powers far in excess of those that we were born with.
To compete, successfully in a business world we need to shift our awareness, and question what’s possible. The big question is, what is your million dollar question?
Conscious evolution and the next ‘holistic’ stage of human civilization
26 February, 2012I was fortunate to attend a talk today by Bruce H. Lipton, PhD, an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit.
Dr Bruce Lipton in his former professional career, was a medical school professor. He was teaching medical students about the nature of the body as being a machine, comprising biochemicals and controlled by genes so that we’re more or less an automaton, a robot.
However, as he got deeper into understanding the nature of the cells, he found that the cells that make up the body, are very intelligent. In fact, it’s the intelligence of the cells that creates the human body.
Dr Lipton says the new science, that he got involved with more than 40 years ago, and is now gradually becoming more mainstream is called epigenetics.
Epigenetic means control above the genes. We now know that we influence the activity of our genes by our actions, perceptions, beliefs and attitudes. In fact, epigenetic information can take a single gene blueprint and modify the readout of the gene to create more than 30,000 different proteins from the same blueprint.
Basically, it says that the genes are plastic and variable and adjust to the environment.
Dr. Lipton began examining the principles of quantum physics and how they might be integrated into his understanding of the cell’s information processing systems.
Dr Lipton talks about the fact that both the conscious and the subconscious mind controls our biology.
Dr Bruce Liptons’ latest book; Spontaneous Evolution and invitation to participate in the greatest adventure in human – conscious evolution and the next “holistic” stage of human civilization.
Happy Valentines Day

The essence of healing is the transformation of unconsciousness into a higher consciousness. Our word reflects many illusions, and it is our responsibility to choose our perception. Be aware of falling into mass hypnotic programming. Saint Valentine originated it seems from the Catholic Church. Legend supposedly recognizes that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. Romantic stories suggest that Valentine may have been killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons. According to one legend, an imprisoned Valentine actually sent the first “valentine” greeting himself after he fell in love with a young girl–possibly his jailor’s daughter–who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter signed “From your Valentine,” an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories all emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic and–most importantly–romantic figure. By the middle ages, perhaps thanks to this reputation, Valentine would become one of the most popular saints in England. The heart has for a long time widely believed to be the seat of the human mind, our spirit, or used poetically to refer to the soul, and representing love. The heart symbol doesn’t actually look much like the real heart. It’s even thought to be more from the seed of the ‘silphium’ plant!, or maybe even other parts of the female anatomy! It’s more likely a combination of different symbols together. Love means many different things to different people, and at different times. Is true love ‘unconditional‘ or a truthful integration of two hearts coming together? …. What does love mean to you ? …. have you found true love or is it just a romantic notion? Boxing Day is … ?
26 December, 2011Most people I speak with have little or no idea of what Boxing Day is really all about, and quite frankly just don’t care, so long as they still get a paid day off work.
We know that Boxing Day is the day after Xmas, and a day off work, and it’s when shopping goes crazy, and various crazy sports, like cricket, football and boat racing events take place, … and there’s no boxing!
And research says that the exact origin of Boxing Day is really unknown, there are some claims that it goes back to the late Roman and early Christian era, with metal boxes being placed outside churches that were used to collect special offerings tied to the Feast of Saint Stephen.
In the UK, it was apparently a custom for tradesmen to collect ‘Christmas boxes’ of money or presents on the first weekday after Christmas as ‘thanks’ for good service throughout the year. Or Boxing Day is an old English tradition, in exchange for ensuring that wealthy landowners’ Christmas’ ran smoothly, their servants were allowed to take the 26th off to visit their families. The employers gave each servant a box containing gifts and bonuses and leftover food.
If anyone can enlighten me, please leave a comment …
